DS3 Biotic Tech specs
Twist ballpoint pen with casing and mechanism made from renewable and biodegradable raw materials in line with EN 13432. In terms of the overall balance (including refill and spring), this equals a compostability factor of 75%. Seven select standard colours in natural shades. Special colours based on PMS already from 10,000 units. In the „Sand“ version, the bioplastic (PLA) is mixed with wood-plastic composites (FSC). A total of three printing surfaces, clip printable in up to six colours. The inks and tips of our standard refills are particularly low-polluting. The writing instruments are equipped as standard with the high-quality Floating Ball® 1.0 lead free refill with lead-free tip. Naturally, from our own production facilities. Alternatively available with the broader-writing Floating Ball® 1.4 lead free refill and the Gel SuperDry® or Gel Asia refill, which are also lead-free. All Prodir writing instruments are refillable.
Floating Ball® lead free
Unique jumbo plastic ballpoint pen refill with a 1.0 mm or 1.4 mm tungsten carbide writing ball in a tip made of lead-free, rust-proof steel. Medium viscosity ink paste for a comfortably-smooth writing feeling. In compliance with ISO 12757-1/2, waterproof. The refill is compliant with REACH 1907/2006 regulation and contains no elements on the SVHC list (Substances of Very High Concern) and its annexes. Also available with black casing or as a metal refill.
Gel Asia lead free
Plastic refill with extra-fine 0.5 mm tungsten carbide writing ball in corrosion-resistant stainless steel tip, filled with water-based pigmented ink. The fine writing line is particularly suited for Asian writing habits. Writing colours blue and black. In compliance with ISO standard 27668-1/2, waterproof. Remove red protective cap from the tip before using.
SuperDry® lead free
Plastic jumbo gel writer refill for flowing, soft gel-writing feeling. Distinctly faster drying than conventional gel refills. Top-quality stainless steel tip with 0.7 mm tungsten carbide writing ball. Writing colours blue and black. In line with the ISO 27668-1 standard. Remove red cap from the tip before using.
